Ray Andrews lived a life dedicated to family and fascinated by the Ford automobiles sold at dealerships like those owned by his father-in-law, George Gaudin. After serving his country as an Air Force mechanic in WWII, Ray returned home and trained at Henry Ford’s garage in Detroit, Michigan.

His early passion for cars and trucks led him to a storied 35 year career as a Ford dealer. Ray described himself as “forever lucky” to be married to the love of his life, George’s daughter Jacque. The family’s admiration for Ray as an elder led the Andrews and Ackerman families to ask Life Story Media to create and preserve Ray’s story on video. This program was screened for the family and at the memorial service commemorating Ray’s rich 90 year life lived in “the Andrews’ Mode.”
